As we head towards Theatre Peckham’s 40th Anniversary, we have selected our Junior Acting Company to represent Theatre Peckham in NT Connections, a prestigious national youth theatre project run by the National Theatre.

NT Connections brings together young performers from across the UK to stage specially commissioned plays, work with professional artists, and take part in a nationwide festival that celebrates youth talent and creativity. It’s a unique and highly respected opportunity for young people to grow as artists and collaborators.

As part of this exciting journey, the Junior Acting Company will present their Home Performance on Saturday 21st February 2026, followed by a Festival Performance on Saturday 28th March 2026 directed by Montel Douglas.

Our Junior Acting Company is designed for young people eager to develop the craft of performance in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Through acting, they develop adaptability, confidence, and communication skills, learning to embrace change both on stage and in life. These are invaluable qualities are beneficial for any future path they choose.

We’re incredibly proud of our Junior Actors as they take this next step, and look forward to celebrating their achievements during this landmark year for Theatre Peckham.
