NT Connections brings together young performers from across the UK to stage specially commissioned plays, work with professional artists, and take part in a nationwide festival that celebrates youth talent and creativity. It’s a unique and highly respected opportunity for young people to grow as artists and collaborators.

Our Junior Acting Company is designed for young people eager to develop the craft of performance in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Through acting, they develop adaptability, confidence, and communication skills, learning to embrace change both on stage and in life. These are invaluable qualities are beneficial for any future path they choose.

We’re incredibly proud of our Junior Actors as they take this next step, and look forward to celebrating their achievements during this landmark year for Theatre Peckham.

Tutors: Charlie Ferguson, Joe Bernstein

If you wish for your child to enrol for our in-house exam for this class, please contact our Academy Coordinator, membership@theatrepeckham.co.uk.

PLEASE NOTE FOR PARENTS: Our Academy team supports each young person in finding the class and learning environment that best supports their development. Following attendance and tutor observation, we may occasionally feel that a different Academy class would better support a student’s learning, confidence or wellbeing. Where this is the case, we will discuss our observations with the parent/carer and, where appropriate, the Academy may decide that a change of class is the most suitable next step for the young person. Due to the ensemble-based nature and pace of Junior Acting Company, suitability for this class is considered by the teaching and Academy team as students begin working with the group.
